I really suggest you to get the helmet purchase and put on the baby. It is super important this is not just cosmetic. The bones are putting pressure to the brain as we speak. The more you wait the bigger the deformation and then more pressure to the brain. It will be too late if the baby has his bones fused. Then he will required surgery to reopen the bones and realease the pressure against the brain. This can cause speech problems and a lot ofher problems.

Helmets are used for long time. This is just not so commun. Now you see more often babies with this problem becuase of the new rules "always in their back".

Please see a doctor. It is hard to tell how bad he is until he is seen by a professiional.

Hi there,
My nephew is now 10 months old. His head is badly misshappened. He was ordered from the neuro doctor to wear a helmet when he was about 4-5 months old. To this day he still does not wear his helmet. What are the long term effects this will cause him from not wearing the helmet?
