I am 36 weeks pregnant with my second child
I am only measuring 31 cm
I fainted at work today and also noticed that my bowels were loose and green in color
Should I be worried?

To Lisa - You are on Levaquin? What did your OB say about that? Benefits outweigh the risks?

Hi ladies
I'm about 9 weeks pregnant with my second child. About a week ago I woke at 2am with horrible runs then all that day I had the urge/feeling I should be sitting on the toilet all day. The night before it all started after dinner, the gurgling noise and rumbling. I thought I may have had a bug or food poison. The runs lasted all that first day and ever since it's been the very very loose stools very frequent. I'm too scared to leave the house and have been feeling a bit depressed about it. Since I found out I was pregnant iv had looser stools but now they are more frequent and much more loose. Sometimes doesn't even seem worth going as there isn't much. I really hope this doesn't last too much longer. But I am so releived to read all these other posts so I know I'm not alone as I spoke to my dr briefly over the phone and I asked if it's related to pregnancy and she said "no".

hi all, i'm the same post before this...turns out i had a bacterial infection in my digestive tract called aeromonas-hydrophilla caviae. i am on a 10 day course of levaquin (a class c med and frightening) but hoping that does the trick. also my dr said there is a difference between having loose stools and diarrhea. diarrhea is going 3 or more times a day and that is when you should see a doctor.

hi all, im 14 weeks and i've had loose stools since week 4. multiple times a day and wakes me up at night too. my gyn referred me to my pcp to get a stool sample. they both agree this is not a normal symptom which freaks me out but after reading everyones comments, it seems possible to be a symptom of pregnancy. they want to check for c-diff and other possibilities..all of which can not be treated while you are pregnant. if they dont find anything then they will send me to a gi specialist. they are taking this pretty seriously. im scared and just want my baby to be healthy. thanks to everyone for taking the time to post.

I'm in my fourth pregnancy and have has loose stools with all. Just be careful as pregant women tend to get dehydrated faster and easier than non-pregnant women. My 2 year-old had the stomach bug and mommy got it as well. Needless to say I was in the ER with IV less than 10 hours once I started!

OK, so this is normal?! First of all, Im almost 27 and I just took a test a day ago, because I was 3 days late from my period, and I have been very regular. (even off of BC) When it said yes I almost fainted, so we took another that ALSO said YES! we have not been trying and although I had gotten off birth control about 3-4 months ago, we have been practicing lots of contraceptive measures, SOOO not sure I guess God thought it may be the right time. However, for about the last week I have been experiencing loose stool, diarrhea , and LOTS of gas and gurgly stomach! Im a healthy eater and had not eaten anything out of the ordinary so it was baffling me! Im going to go to the Doc on Monday and get whatever they do done in your first visit! I have absolutely no idea about being PREGGERS!! or what it even involves for that matter! What will happen at my first visit??

I am 22 weeks and suffered awful constipation since week 14 or so. My doc gave me a new prenatal and now I am going all the time. I was really scared that I had some sort of bug or something because the shift was so dramatic. Glad to hear it happens to others as well.
