My husband and I had sex doggy style position a week before our first baby was supposed to come and I went into labor 10 minutes later. I was in labor for 36 hours though so every pregnancy is different. I'm 35 weeks now and my babys head is engaged and sex doesn't generally help unless it's the last few weeks and the baby is ready.
