After I had my first baby, I got pregnant again too soon and I wasn't prepared to have another baby for a few reasons. I had an abortion and after that my next baby was a wopping 9lbs. If you have an abortion really early in the pregnancy, then it won't affect your next pregnancy.

Sasha:
This articles states that out of 37 different study results, when combined, showed that women who've had abortions seemed to have a greater risk of delivering below average weight. The article even goes on to state that some of these results could be skewed due to the older methods that were used to abort a pregnancy back in the day, which are no longer practiced. All of the findings in this article are based on someone's study, not the opinions of the writer.

This article DID NOT prove a link between abortion and low-weight births.
Anyone who knows the basics of proving a thesis can figure that out. Just because many women who had an abortion had low-weight births does not conclude that the babies had a low birth weight BECAUSE of the abortion. Many women who do not have abortions have low-weight births and many women who have had abortions have normal weight babies. There are many other reasons why those women had low-weight births. Hmmm...smoking, not taking the right prenatal vitamins, not eating enough/gaining enough weight during the pregnancy, being underweight BEFORE getting pregnant, etc.
A proper study would have ruled out all other factors before just stating that abortion makes you more likely to have low-weight births or premature births. Any doctor will tell you abortion does not affect future pregnancies. Just because you are against abortion doesn't mean you can make up false information to support your case.
