I had a scheduled c-section with my first and it went very good. I wouldn't have natural delivery if I could because I've heard worse stories about it than c-sections. My next is due in sept. and I plan to have another c-section. I recommend it to anyone because it is safer to plan one than have one at the last minute. and I think any mother who has had a c-section has given birth. It doesn't matter how the baby came out. It came right?

I had a scheduled c section and was home the next day. I got up and walked as soon as I could again feel my legs. It was like the stork brought him. I am set to have another come July, and although I probably could go home earlier, I will stay an extra day or two because I have a 3 year old at home:)

I delivered my 3rd child via emergency C-section after a long tireless labor of 27 hours with not much progression after my daughters heart beat went to dangerously low 60 bpm. When they got her out it turned out she was sunny side up. I did not let the incision hold me back. I delivered her at 2.21am and i was up brushing my teeth at 8.30am. I was sore but the pain medication helped, just be sure not to let it wear off for atleast the first 3 days. I was home 2 days after the C-section and although stiff i was able to take care of my baby and my other 2 children who were delivered naturally slowley but i was capable, with the help of my husband. At the point of 27 hours and not much progression with no water to the baby for the entire time, i was pleased also to hear of a c-section and welcomed it, It wasnt so bad, all we can do is our best and accept what comes next. GL everyone!

I planned my first delivery to be a C-Section, due that I studied all the risks of a natural birth when I was nine, it was more or less knowing that it was the safest of the two.
