I have found that doing stretches before bed help me sleep. Start with legs strait and alternate which foot is pointed up and which is pointed down until you feel stretched out (to cut down on those calf cramps). On your hands and knees push you back as high up as you can hold it for a few seconds, then lower your back down until you push you belly as far down as comfortable hold for a few seconds, repeat until you get tired (to help with back ache). Also I try to go potty twice (about 30 mins inbetween each time) before I go to sleep so that my bladder and kidneys are empty, the last being just before I lay down. I also keep a bottle of water by the bed so I don't have to go in the kitchen for a drink and I don't spill it while reaching for it.
36weeks pg only 4weeks left PTL!

Thanks to share with me the fact that I'm not the only one to suffer these during my 37th week. I barely can sleep and am experiencing a lot of heartburn. I will try the pillow advice to see if it will work for me.

I have alot of sleep problems and is in my 37th week. I use my body pillow & still can not get too comfortable. My fiancee has to help me get up out of bed because of the pain that I have in mmy pelvic region. I can't wait til it's time to deliver to have SOME pain relief. lol.

I have been having these sleep problems, though I am less than one week from a cecerian delivery.. (38 weeks) I also had a cecerian birth with my last child three years ago, and I have also noticed those "round ligament" pains worsening as the delivery date approaches, making it even harder to find sleep at night. The "bladder calling" is also sooo true lol!

I am in my 9th month of pregnancy, but ever since I got in my 8th month I have been experiencing every bit of this and I thought that I was the only one. The only other problems that I have is saddle soreness and SI Joint Pain so sleeping is not something that I do much of. And as the baby gets bigger the more and more he seems to wanna jump on my bladder.
