After that we put her in her bed, and sometime put on soothing music if she is uneasy. When our son was about 4 months old, my husband started "Daddy Down-Time". Since I breastfed, I had plenty of time to bond with him, but Daddy wanted his time too. They sit and watch a documentary for a half-an-hour which calms both of them down and lets our son know that bedtime is just around the corner. It is the foundation of our bedtime routine.
