Alex was born Friday, March 18, 2005 @ 4:01pm. I was 24 weeks pregnant, so he was almost 4 months early. He weighed 1lb 6oz and was 12in long. He is a miracle from God and perfect in everyway!
Update, July 1st 2005:
Alex is home! He was discharged 2 days before his due date of July 3rd. He spent 105 days in the NICU.
Mommy was there for everyone of those days except one, when she was too sick to see him.
Update, Sept 1st 2005:
After coming home Alex spent another 2 months at home on oxygen and 2 monitors.
Thanks to the Lord's healing we shed that on August 29th!!
Update, March 18th 2006:
Alex is a year old! He is 20lbs and healthy! We are still in therapy and have some health issues,
but he is growing and striving! I know with the Lord's hand, he will be caught up in no time!
Update, August 1st 2006,
Alex is now 16 months old. He is still 20lbs and doing great! We has found his voice and is babbling up a storm, his favorite word is MaMa. :) We are working with him and hoping he will be standing and walking all over the house soon. I am going to enjoy some one on one time with him this year while his big sisters are at school.
GOD IS GOOD!
Update, May 23rd 2007:
Alex is now 2 years old! He is 25lbs and full of life. He is talking great and running around after his sisters.
He has been discharged from speech and occupational therapy!
