katie their are not enough words to describe who you are and i was lucky enough to be your mom. I saw you do so many things from the moment you were born i knew you were an angel, katie are time was short but you left us with so many memories and you will always be in our hearts. Katie had such a personality and loved the camera she always wore a smile and made mommy always smile when she looked at me. Katie would go look for me anytime i left the room and i knew that she wanted to spend as much time with her mommy as possible i belive she knew her time was short and tried to spend every sec that she could with me. Katie also had a special connection with her brother she would love to attack him and would give her brother a run for his money trying to get her toys from him they would ride their push toys back and forth and sometimes jacob would even push her jacob loved his sisie as much as she loved him and talks about her all the time.

Dear Katie
Katie mommy didnt know but their was a reason why i spoiled you so, a reason why mommy always was getting you new things because you were my baby girl mommys little princess katie you are and will always be apart of our family and mommy will never get sick of telling your storys to all that will listen because when I talk about you it makes me happy because every memory is a happy one you were a very happy baby and toddler and now an angel in heaven if i could have you for only a year it was worth it I wouldnt have given that up for anything and I'm the most luckiest mom for having such a special daughter Katie I love you and can't wait till the day when i can cradle you in my arms again and give you love

When God Calls Little Children

When God calls little children to dwell with Him above,
We mortals sometimes question the wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with the death of one small child,
Who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to His fold,
So He picks a tiny rosebud before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them, and so He takes but few,
To make the land of heaven more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult, still somehow we must try.
The saddest word that mankind knows will always be "Goodbye."
So when a little child departs, we who are left behind,
Must realize God loves children, Angels are hard to find.

I'll lend you for a little time
a child of Mine, He said.
For you to love while she lives,
and mourn when she is dead.

It may be six or seven years,
or twenty-two or three.
But will you til I call her back,
take care of her for me?

She'll bring her charms to gladden you,
and her stay, it shall be brief.
You'll have her lovely memories,
as solace for your grief.

I can not promise she will stay,
since all from earth return.
But there are lessons taught down there,
I want this child to learn.

I've looked the wide world over
in my search for teachers true,
and from the throngs that crowd life's lanes,
I have selected you.

Now, you will give her all your love,
and not think the labor vain,
nor hate me when I come to call,
to take her back again.

I fancied that I heard them say,
Dear Lord, thy will be done.
For all the joy this child shall bring,
the risk of grief we'll run.

We'll shelter her with tenderness,
we'll love her while we may,
and for the happiness we've known,
we'll ever grateful stay.

But, shall the angels call for her,
much sooner than we planned,
we'll brave the bitter grief that comes,
and try to understand.
