After many months of trying, we are finally expecting our first baby! We are very excited and are looking forward to everything that comes with becoming parents!
As soon as we found out that we were pregnant we went to the doctor, and have now been a total of four times! The second time we went we were able to hear the baby's heartbeat and it was really fast, 172! Then we had our first ultrasound done during the First Trimester Screen and we got to have a video and pictures of the ultrasound too! Seeing the baby for the first time was amazing and reassuring that there was indeed only one!!! We heard the baby's heartbeat again and it had dropped to 161. A week later we went for our monthly checkup and heard the baby's hearbeat for a third time and it had once again dropped to 150!
Currently, we are four months pregnant, and it hasn't been an easy road by any means, but we are just looking forward to what comes at the end of nine months of morning sickness, stretch marks, cravings, and mood swings! We also can't wait to find out the sex of the baby and plan to do so in the middle of May!
