And I have started Kindergarten! We have both reached important milestones at the same time. Mom says when I start College, Eric will start High School. I just don’t understand what the big deal is about that… This summer I learned how to swim and Eric Matthew loved the pool. He kicks just like I do and if you let him crawl from zero depth he goes to the deep and swims away. Eric is getting so big he finally gave up crawling and he now walks! It’s funny to watch because he reminds us of the ducks at the farm park. He also talks a lot more. He likes to call me “E” and Dad “Dus.” We have to watch Eric very closely because he likes to climb the stairs and when he does we follow him up to his favorite room, MY ROOM! Right now, his favorite things to do are play” catch and throw”, dance, and sing. He is just learning about animals and their sounds. Also, if there’s one thing he loves more than anything, it’s babies. We know lots of babies and he knows how to be very nice to them. I guess he doesn’t realize that he is not much older than them. His other favorite pastime is emptying out the Tupperware lids in the kitchen.
Me and Audrey at School
I'll sure miss summer though...
As for me, I have started Kindergarten and I take the bus to school in the morning. I truly love my teacher, Mrs. Dubois. She makes everything interesting and fun at the same time. My favorite things about Kindergarten are all the toys at our “centers”. I guess since we’re all older now, we can be trusted with a lot more fragile toys. We have more responsibilities now. I am also very responsible at home for my morning and nighttime schedules. I work very hard to do my chores, take care of myself, and help keep a good schedule on the weekdays. My other big news is that I participated in my first Tae Kwon Do Tournament. I did my current form “Taeguk II” and I practiced very hard. I got 2nd place! This school year I’ll be playing soccer for the first time. I think I’ll give everything a try before I decide which is my favorite! I hope everyone is doing well. Love, Ethan
