After a few diffcult weeks coming to terms with the fact that Jacob our smaller twin had what we was thought at the time to be sever Spina Bifida aswell as a few other problems - the post mortem actually found that this condition was actually something called O.E.I.S. Complex (Omphalocele, Extrophy, Imperforale Anus and Spinal defects)- we went to a routine scan on Tuesday 21st June, 2005, to find that our boys had actually passed away.
I went into hospital on 22nd June with their Daddy, to be induced at 10.15am, and after a relitivley painless labour they were born at 5.50pm. We were able to see them for as long as we needed. They were blessed by the Hospital Chaplain at 7pm.
Ethan and Jacob we're then buried with a short grave side service of committal (by a hospital chaplain) at Belmont Cemetery, Antrim on 20th July, 2005.
