Isabelle Jade was born Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 10:04 P.M. with an APGAR of 9, 10. She weighed in at 7 pounds, 7.2 ounces and was 18 3/4 inches long. She has a head full of pretty brown hair and beautiful blue eyes. Dr. Bryan Myers delivered her at STMC and then he and the nurses said a prayer with us and Isabelle. As soon as she was here she started looking around, checking things out, she turned towards me from the table when I said her name. She is the most content, quiet, beautiful baby Ive ever seen. She looked JUST LIKE her dad when she was born but she is changing everyday.... getting more and more beautiful!!!

Isabelle LOVES "charlie the church mouse". She also likes "my bedbugs", the "abc song", and being with her family.
She really loves her grandparents and misses them when she doesnt see them in a few days! She is going to Tim's church (fumc) and mine (decherd church of God). She is very good at both, even though they are very different, and now is "singing with the choir".
Her favorite blanket is her pink fuzzy one and loves her vtech tv projector! She likes to be "busy" doesnt want to stay still... walker, jumper, exercising, or going to walmart.

Family note: We are NOT doing santa because we feel Christmas should solely be about Jesus and we would realllly appreciate it if you all would respect our wishes and flow with our plans as best as possible. On Christmas, She will get 3 gifts from parents representing the 3 wise men and 1 from each set of grandparents to represent giving and receiveing love.... we MAY participate in a name exchange for gifts depending on the circumstances. Please NO gifts at Easter. Easter is about SEEKING God's treasures, and acknowledging that Jesus died for us but he is still alive in heaven and we can find him just by looking. We are going to boil eggs, get some plastic ones with "treasures"/"prizes" in them and they will be hidden to find. And please limit birthday gifts to 1 also!! Birthday party's are a big deal because they celebrate the day God give Isabelle to us and it's "all about her" but I plan on having a "big bash" with lots of folks so 1 gift is enough! thanks!
