Kyla was born at the Royal Woman's Hospital at 7.25am on 21st August 2005 weighing 1445 grams. She was born at 28.6 weeks via emergency c-section due to placenta previa and placental abruption. Kyla was in the NICU at the RWH for two weeks before being transferred to the SCN at Knox Hosptial where she stayed until 28th October.
