November 2002 - Ainsley had her first Thanksgiving dinner and loved it! She had turkey, stuffing, potatoes and gravy. Ainsley is very active now - almost walking by herself. She loves her daycare and has alot of little friends there. She is definitely a Daddy's girl - who loves to cuddle in his arms and on his chest at night. She is a little "monster" at times...getting into everything and after the dogs. She is a very social little girl and loves to be around lots of people. She particularly enjoys toddlers and older kids to follow around and have fun with. She is the child who always has a smile on her sweet little face! We love her soo much! ;-) Dec 30, 2002 Happy (almost) New Year!!!! Ainsley had her well baby drs appt today - she now weighs 19lbs 4.8ozs and is 27.5 inches long. She is very healthy, loving and ACTIVE! A big ham and flirt! She had a great Christmas and loves everything she got (thank you everybody). She currently has two teeth and is (we believe)working on some more. She crawls (VERY FAST!) and is taking 3 steps at a time by herself - mom and dad are getting a bit nervous about the walking thing!!!!!!!!!!!!! March 4th, 2003 Ainsley is walking / running, babbling like crazy, has four teeth and will turn ONE YEAR OLD already this Saturday! Happy Birthday Baby we LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!! ;-) xoxox March 25 2003 Ainsley turned one on March 8th and had a great birthday bbq she shared with Daddy (whose birthday was the 9th). Thank you to everyone for coming to help celebrate and for all the lovely although unneccessary new toys! July 9, 2003 - Ainsley is now 16mos old. She is 32 inches long & 22lbs of energy! She is quiet the talker and lover! Aug 11, 2003 - Ainsley is 17mos old now. She is 32inches long and 25lbs. Her teeth are coming in more now(she has her first molar in finally)and her hair is growing alot. She is a cute little blondie - very chatty and energetic! She has some new words she picked up in the last month: brocolli, moose, house, home, blue, yellow, potty, ice, etc..and she is working on "mini-sentences" which is very cute. She is very demanding when it comes to ELMO and will chant "Elmo, Elmo" when she wants to watch her program. She is doing very well in her new school and seems to enjoy it alot. She has made a few new friends and seems to enjoy the boys more than the girls in the class (UH OH - watch out Daddy - she is starting the "boy thing" early!) Oct 6, 2003 Our little baby sure isn't a baby anymore --- Toddler she is! She is talking up a storm and soaking up info as fas as she can ... a little sponge! She is learning to count to 10 and picking it up incredibly fast! Its amazing how much they can learn so quickly. Lately she loves to dance and sing and read alot...her favorite song is "the ants go marching" which she requests by jumping up and saying "marking" and pointing at the stereo...she also does a very cute "I LOVBE YOU" gesture by pointing at her eye then hugging her self and pointing at the person she "LOVBES" (thats how she says love - LOVBE). Its adorable! Lately we have been out shopping and she enjoys it - she is the greeter to everyone in the stores we go into and people are starting to know her name because she is so friendly. She is such a ham - loves the attention! ;-) For Halloween we got her an Elmo costume(she LOVES elmo) - who knows if she will be good and wear it or decide on that day she doesn't like it - the "terrible twos" are starting early! She is very feisty! March 15, 2004 We had a birthday party this weekend for Ainsley and Daddy - it was fun! Ainsley is starting to LOOOOVVEE opening presents and sang Happy birthday to herself and to Daddy - it was cute. She is now 26lbs and 33 inches tall- her hair is finally looking like a little girl! She talks up a storm, loves to sing and plays with anything that has to do with "the princesses" , barbie, or elmo! June 24th, 2004 Ainsley is such a silly girl! She sang Happy Birthday to Aunt Pam on the cell phone tonight and also spoke to both "pop-pops" and Grandma Sandy..she asked to speak to Ciara too, but Ciara was too busy getting stuff off the floor to put on the table! ;-) October 18, 2004 Ainsley is growing up tooo fast! She is such a mature little girl! She amazes us each day with her attitude and vocabulary - she is excited about Halloween and will be "Cinderella" (at least that is what she is telling people). She LOVES to play dress up - recently we bought her a hula costume - she likes to wear it around the house and say "hula hula" and shake her hips! Its too cute. She also HAD to have a devil mask - and she puts in on & walks around the house in it when people come to visit - its hilarious! She is very funny! A big ham! July 2005 - Ainsley is growing up so fast and becoming such a little lady. Lately she HAS to have her nails painted, wear only dresses, have her hair done, etc..She has alot of friends and has been having playdates with them - she gets very excited when she sees her little girl friends - they scream and run to each other - its totally cute. She is working on her swimming and doing very well at it - she doesn't use a float swimsuit or arm floaties, she just uses a "noodle" and puts it under her arm pits and swims - she is a little mermaid and would spend all her free time in the pool if we let her! She is into "making a deal" lately with us when she wants to do something or telling us to "trust her" when she wants us to do what she says - she sounds like a 15yr! Oct 2005 - Ainsley is doing well in her new "big girl class - she now can spell her name, spell mom, spell dad and is working on spelling dog. She likes learning the letters and has made some new friends. She is doing well there. She is very excited about Halloween - she keeps asking us if its time yet to go trick or treating. She is very dramatic with her emotions lately - especially the ones where her feelings get hurt - if someone tells her she is wrong, etc..she will burst into tears like someone physically hurt her...if she is happy - she is bouncing off the walls. At a recent doctors appt she weighed 35 1/2 pounds and was 3ft 2 1/4 inches tall...she has grown alot in the next year - we are having a hard time keeping shoes on her! December 2005 Well, Christmas is almost here! Its hard to believe another year is almost gone. We have been busy this year with Ainsley. She is getting to be such a young lady. She started taking gymnastics at school once a week, has grown about a foot in a year and talks so maturely! At times we forget she is just 3.5 yrs old! She is very excited about Christmas and can't wait for it to be here. We hope you all have a fabulous holiday! March 2006 Ainsley is now 4! Its so hard to believe that just over 4 yrs ago we were waiting for a birthmom call and now here our baby is all grown up! We thank God each day for her. We have truly been blessed! She is a wonderful little girl - full of love and life! She loves to do "group hugs" with mommy and daddy and also hugs all her friends and teachers at school- she is just a child who is so full of love to share! She is taking ballet lessons and doing so well - she has incredible sense of self and confidence. She is going to love being on the stage in June when the school does their show to the public. She enjoys the spot light! haha! November 2006 Ainsley is anxiously counting the days to Christmas - she can hardly wait! She had Darin pull out the tree the night before Thanksgiving - she just HAD to decorate it! LOL She sings Christmas carols constantly and keeps looking in her toy book pointing out all she wants! We wish that we would be matched with a new birthmom before Christmas so that we can tell her then she has a new sibling coming! She will make a great big sister! She has been helping to set up the crib,etc..and is very excited! She says she doesn't want to wait anymore! haha!
