KATIE IS 5 YEARS OLD!!!

Jan2007: Katie is now 5 YEARS OLD! She is in Senior Kindergarden and continues to love school. She is now taking beginners ballet and loves to put on shows for everyone to see what she's learned. She is a great helper and loves to cook, although daddy is usually her preferred cooking partner. She loves listening to her music on her CD player she got for her birthday. Dora continues to be a favourite show, although she is expanding her horizons.

Nov05: Katie Mae loves school and can't wait to get on the bus in the morning. She is learning lots and loves to teach Eddie the new songs she's learned.

Katie started school today!!! (Sept 7th). She is riding the bus and had no hesitation about going! Katie is almost 4 years old. She loves singing and reading books. She can spell her name. She is a wonderful big sister and loves to play with Eddie, although sometimes she just wants "that boy" to leave her alone. Katie still loves "Dora The Explorer". She enjoys swimming, playing at the park, helping in the garden, feeding the cows and is just generally a happy little girl.

Katie Mae is almost 3 yrs old. She is a wonderful sister, always trying to help calm Eddie Boy's crying, ESPECIALLY when she is the one that started it. She can sing her ABC's and loves when mommy puts on "her music" as she dances around the livingroom singing.

Katie Mae loves to sing!! She knows the words to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star & Itsy Bitsy Spider, although only a select few get the honour of hearing her sing! She love going to play group and asks whenever we drive by the church it's held in "We go play group pllllleasssse!" Katie is now swinging on the big swing and loves to go HIGH!!! (Mommy can't watch.) She can count to 10 and recognizes the numbers in her puzzles.

Katie Mae is a GREAT big sister. She loves to talk to her baby brother Eddie. She also plays games with him, tickles him and tries to help comfort him if he's crying. She likes to tell mommy what he wants (mommy, Eddie boobie LOL).

KATIE MAE IS TWO YEARS OLD!!! Katie Mae had a birthday party with Ice Cream Cake and recieved lots of nice gifts. Her favourite...The Big Comfy Couch Videos!! She's got her own mini collection started with 3 videos. Katie also has a new baby brother Eddie born September 25th.

September 2003. Katie Mae is an active, adventurous toddler. Katie is talking more and more with new words all the time (she says more the 50 words and lots of little phrases). Katie is going to be a big sister in October - maybe even on her birthday!!!!! Her eyes are a pretty brown like her daddy's and her hair now a sandy blonde. She loves playing with her new baby cousins Tristan and Owen. New pictures added!!

July 2003. Katie Mae is a still growing!! Last check she is a whooping 36 1/4 inches tall!! She's gonna be tall like her daddy! She's talking lots with over 35 words and little phrases like "There you go" and "All gone".

January 2003. Lots more new with Katie Mae. More words including "kitty" "drink" "mommy" (instead of just momoomomomom). Katie can show you were her nose, ears and tummy are. She likes to sing "Happy and you know it" clapping someone elses hands. We are doing Moms, Pops & Tots at the local community center and Katie just loves it!!

December 9th. Katie had her picture taken with Santa Claus today. Lots of new things to report. Katie is starting to talk more and more. And mom & dad are starting to figure out what she is trying to say. Some words she uses include "out" "eat" and "up".
Katie likes to sort blocks and play hid the bottle. Only problem is we don't find the bottle until 3 days later - sour milk and all. Hide mommy's shoes is also a fun game. Except when it makes mommy late for work :)

October 18th. Katie has changed so much in the past six weeks. First she turned 1 year old!!! She skipped the "learning to walk" stage and gone straight to running (ok that's what it seems like to those who chase her all day).
She likes to climb all over furniture and is very proud (loud) when she succeeds, letting everyone know that she's just done something. There are a couple new teeth now. She has 8 on the bottom, 6 on the top. Loves to eat and try new things.

Today (Sept 3rd) Katie Mae took her first steps!!! All by herself!! We are so proud of her!! We think there are more teeth in too but are not brave enough to test that out.

At 10 months she is 24 1/2lbs and 30 inches long. She is crawling (7 months), cruising furniture (7 1/2 months) and learning to stand on her own (9 months). With all the little teeth (11 in total!!)in her mouth she enjoys tasting all kinds of foods. She likes cheerios, cheese and eating fresh fruit with her daddy.
Katie spends her time hanging out at the park on the swing, riding around town checking out the sites in her stroller and swimming at Grandma J's pool. Katie has also discovered that she can climb stairs, and she's very fast at it too!!
Katie has made some friends that she loves to play with.
