She's finally here! Nancy Elizabeth arrived on Wednesday,July 26, 2006 at 8:52 pm. She weighed 6 lbs., 10 oz. and was 20 1/4 inches long.

Regina's midwife broke her water a little after 6pm to get things started. She had been stuck at 3-4 cm. for a couple of days. It was a pretty easy labor since she got the epidural after only 2 contractions. She quickly went from 4 to 7 cm. and then onto time to push. Nancy came after only a few pushes and actually came out on her own at 8:52 pm. A couple of med. students/aspiring midwives were in the room and made the whole experience a lot of fun. Mom and baby are doing great and will have more to report after getting some rest.
