God's Plan of Salvation
The Bible says there is only ONE way to Heaven
Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." (John 14:6)
Good works cannot save you.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
You must be Born Again.
"There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (John 3:1-7)
Trust Jesus Christ today. Here's what you must do:
1. Admit you are a sinner.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23)
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Romans 5:12)
"If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." (1 John 1:10)
2. Be willing to turn from sin (repent).
Jesus said: "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:5)
"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:" (Acts 17:30)
3. Believe and Accept that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners. Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)
4. Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Saviour.
"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:10)
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
IT IS OUR PRAYER THAT IF YOU ARE NOT SAVED YOU WILL ACCEPT THE LORD INTO YOUR HEART AND LIFE TODAY!!!
Our little boy was born March 1, 2002. He is a boy that is full of energy and loves the Lord. He loves to sing and dance, even showing off a little by saying the alphabet backwards. On February 16, 2005, James was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma (n-myc amplified, unfavourable histology, ploidy: 1.17), a cancer of the sympathetic nervous system at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center/Brenner Children's Hopsital. He presented with a bump on the occipital bone (skull) in January 2005. He was on the COG A3973 Protocol, and has finished 6 rounds of chemo, removal of the left adrenal gland, removal of a tumor on the skull and part of the lining of the brain (dura), along with a successful stem cell pheresis. He was admitted August 15, 2005 for the conditioning and stem cell transplant (8/23/05) at Duke University. Following transplant, he began radiation (October 3) treatments at both tumor sites and three additional areas that were found post-transplant, the left cheek and his hips/groin area. His radiation ended on Tuesday, October 25, 2005. James began receiving treatment at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in NYC on November 14, 2005. He was enrolled in the Beta-Glucan (yeast)/3F8 clinical trial and finished this Phase I Clinical Trial on February 24, 2006. His latest scans showed improvement, with the exception of a spot on "T7" on the spine. He started radiation (again) at Duke on 04/05/06 and ended the sessions on 4/20/06. He started the phase 2 clinical trial of GM-CSF/3F8 on May 15, 2006. On May 22, 2006, the doctor said "We consider James NED."
On October 9, 2006, James was discovered to a have a tumor located between the skull and dura and was deemed to be a local relapse. He had just finished his 5th round of GM-CSF/3F8 (9th round of 3F8 over-all). He started Irinotecan and Temodar on Tuesday, October 24, 2006. He took his Make-A-Wish trip to Disney World, and upon returning, started another round of chemo and then radiation, which ended December 22, 2006. After a total of 7 rounds of chemo, James was having marrow failure and so treatment was stopped (last chemo was 4/19-4/23/07). He had a CT scan of the head on 5/18/07 which was clear, and then Memorial Day weekend, developed a knot on the back of the skull. MIBG scan showed it did "light up faintly" and a CT scan showed there was a definite tumor. Surgery was performed 6/14/07, and then biopsy confirmed it was indeed Metastatic Neuroblastoma. This is being considered by his local oncologists a "2nd relapse." On July 2, James had a lymph node become very large on the left side of his neck. A CT scan on July 3 showed tumors in his lymph nodes (neck/chest), 3 in his right lung and multiple lesions in his liver. MIBG scan on 7/18/07 showed the disease was also present in his left shoulder, right knee, left lung, both hips, left ilium and mid thoracic spine. He started cyclophosphamide/topotecan on July 19 and was scheduled for MIBG therapy at CHOP August 21, 2007. We found out early August that James had progressed thru the chemo, and the marrow was now 50-60 percent NB cells. He was admitted to Hospice care August 14, 2007. James died peacefully, surrounded by his Daddy and Mommy, grandparents and extended family on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 9:30pm.
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:22-24
