Gavin Caleb Laurence Kale was born on Friday, August 22, 2003 at 1:21 p.m. He weighed 7 lbs. and 12 oz. and was 21 inches long.
He joins his big sister Arianna (11/11/96), big brother Jarod (01/17/00) and his sister in Heaven-Laiken (09/15/02:10:17-11:47 a.m.). On October 20th, 2007, Gavin became a big brother to Alyiva!

Gavin was delivered via scheduled cesarean section at 39 weeks. He was born with low oxygen and had to stay in the NICU overnight for treatment.
Gavin has big brown eyes and although he was born with blonde hair, it has turned reddish blonde now. He is such a joy to all of us and we feel truly blessed to have him in our lives. When we lost our beautiful daughter, Laiken, we were not sure if we would ever get the chance to have another baby. Gavin is a joy. He is such a happy little guy, always telling jokes and having a huge smile on his face! He loves preschool, going to church, and playing with Thomas the Tank Engine toys!
