On February 18, 2005, after a perfect pregnancy, I delivered at 37 weeks my beautiful baby girls, Hayley and Sydney. During a standard NST, Sydney’s heart rate was falling. After letting me sit for five hours, I was rushed for an emergency c-section. It was too late. Sydney died minutes after delivery.

Hayley is a healthy, happy, wonderful 3.5 year old. She’s smart, sweet, funny and a joy to be around. After disappointment in failed adoption attempts, we are going to the Czech Republic in December to pursue invitro using donor eggs - wish us luck!

Update - today is 2/18/09. Happy birthday to my two angels here on earth and in heaven. Our trip was a success and I'm entering my 2nd trimester with a baby boy!
