Formatting Pictures using Pixresizer
Digital cameras are taking pictures that are larger and larger these days. That's great if you want to print poster size photos, but not so good for sharing on the internet. Thank goodness for Bluefive Software, they've created the simplest image resizing program I've ever seen, and it's 100% free!
First: Download Pixresizer - It's Free!
You can download Pixresizer at Download.com (if the direct link doesn't work, please search for Pixresizer on the Download.com home page). Once downloaded, double click the setup file to install onto your computer.
Once you've installed Pixresizer, using it is easy!
***** TO WORK WITH ONE FILE AT A TIME *****
Click the 'Work with one file' tab and follow steps 1 to 4:

2. Select new size (600x450 recommended)

Pixresize will automatically save a copy of your original file. Be sure you don't overwrite your original!
