In many ways, a fussy baby may be worse than having a
colicky baby. At least with a colicky baby you generally
know that your baby will be screaming from 6pm to 9pm,
or whatever hours you have been “blessed” with, and that
there is probably nothing you can do about it. With fussy
babies, that isn’t the case.
Fussiness can come at anytime of the day. It can be
intermittent or at times last all day. With fussiness
guessing what is wrong with your baby and helping them
feel better can take hours to accomplish. It isn’t always
an easy answer. A fussy baby will generally not cry, but
make little and constant growling/groaning type noises.
Enough to catch your attention and let you know something

8. Child Safety Tip - My Baby Hates His Car Seat!

Awe, a peaceful newborn that falls asleep every time
you get in the car. Enjoy it while it lasts because
some babies don’t find joy in car rides for very long.
While some babies can be soothed and put to sleep when
fussy with a ride in the car, other babies begin to
detest car rides once they get past the first few weeks
of constant sleeping.
If your baby suddenly starts disliking his car seat,
do some trial and error to see if there is a simple
explanation. Check to make sure the baby isn’t sitting
on a pacifier or toy that might be at the wrong angle.
Check the straps on the car seat to make sure they are
fastened right, they aren’t too tight, or that the baby
isn’t at an off angle making them pinch his legs.
Also, check the height of the car seat, to make sure the
baby is able to lie comfortably and that the car seat
isn’t sitting up too high that the babies head falls
forward.

Happy Birthday Scorpio! (October 23 - November 21)
When a Scorpio baby enters the world, all eyes will focus
on them. And that's exactly how it will be for a long time
to come, as this baby must be the center of attention!
To that end, this is quite the manipulative little tot,
sucking up energy from everyone around. The Scorpio baby
is also a bit mysterious, making it hard to figure out
what's wrong when the crying starts. So often, it's
something which is seething below the surface and will be
very hard to draw out of this child.
You must also consider power struggles when thinking of
this child, as the Scorpio baby will expect that Mom, Dad,
and everyone else will fit into their schedule and plans.
Make no mistake, this is a powerful child! The flip side of
this is that this baby is quite clear on what they want and
can get that message across.
One important note: Scorpio babes loathe lounging in dirty diapers, so
change them often! Many times, this can be the simple source
of their discomfort, although the malady may not always be so
clear.
For that reason, the Scorpio baby should be watched
closely. Someone will generally be watching this child, though,
as the Scorpio tot enjoys a crowd, especially one where it can
lead.
To sum up, the Scorpio baby is clever, wants things on
their own terms, and will know how to get it. Watch out!
